The Cock is a loveable, all-day full-of-life neighbourhood restaurant and bar and an extraordinary event space. We’re open six days a week, serving good food and drinks from lunch time until late night. We do things our own way and a bit different.

Oyster Evening 29.10. (and 12.11.)

On two Thursdays we’ll have a special guest star shucking oysters: Martin Söderström, our friend from Kalatukku E. Eriksson, will be opening oysters and not just any oysters but a selection of five different oysters with their individual characteristics and delicate flavours.

While admiring Martin’s shucking skills, you can ask him whatever questions you might have about oysters. We’re pretty sure he’ll have an answer. Since he’s a number one connoisseur when it comes to oysters. Not only a three-time Finnish Champion oyster shucker but also European Champion from 2018.

Since there’s a very limited availability, we recommend you to book your table and pre-order the special oyster platter (or a three course menu) right away!

– Bohuslänsk platta (Ostrea edulis), from Sweden’s westcoast
– Chebooktook (Crassostrea virginica), all the way from Bouctouche Bay in New Brunswick, Canada
– Tia Maraa (Crassostrea gigas), from southern coast of Ireland
– Bellone (Ostrea edulis), from Yerseke in Netherlands
